The problem
Skyline had a strong website and a podcast but no app. Listeners kept asking for offline downloads and push when a new episode dropped.
What we built
React Native app. Offline downloads via background fetch. Push via Expo + APNs / FCM. Deep links from the website to the app for episode pages.
Outcome
70k installs in the first quarter. 4.7★ on iOS, 4.6★ on Android. Average session 14 minutes.
